🌳Placify is a new extension for the world’s best 3D modeling program – Sketchup. Placify is invented and being developed by Swedish software studio Holygon.

Placify introduces a new, powerful way of effortlessly placing and transforming Sketchup’s fundamental design unit – components.

Placify facilitates rapid design processes and batch-editing of component instances.

Think like a designer, not an engineer.

The Placify toolsuite helps you quickly and accurately e.g. place, spread, spawn, nudge, drop, shift, turn, paint, size, filter, sample, replace and reset selected entities, both individually and in batch.

A common use case is adding vegetation, vehicles and other instanced features to terrain. Placify also works well for interior design, mechanical assemblies, and many other scenarios that call for accurate placing and quick batch-editing of component properties.

Placify is designed to be useful on its own. But when coupled together with Holygon’s other extensions – Compfire and Landshape – they work as one supercharged creative toolchain.

Placify is currently under development by Holygon, and is slated for release in 2024. Detailed information is forthcoming in autumn 2024.
